Yoga began as a personal practice for me, but over time it became something much bigger—a way to create space for people to slow down, reconnect with their bodies and feel supported.
My teaching has naturally grown toward the quieter side of the practice: Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, nervous system care, fascia and mobility, sound meditation and intentional rest.
Nuevo Om grew from that same place—not from wanting to create more things to do, but from wanting to create meaningful spaces to simply be.
A new way to OM…
Meet Samantha
I began noticing that some of the most meaningful moments weren’t always the poses.
They were the conversations after class. The long exhale during stillness. The feeling of being supported. The small rituals that helped someone reconnect with themselves.
Nuevo Om was created to make more room for those moments.
Through mindful movement, Yin and restorative yoga, sound meditation, recovery practices, ritual and community, Nuevo Om creates experiences that invite you to slow down and reconnect.
Sometimes that happens on a yoga mat.
Sometimes it happens through a sound bowl, a cup of coffee, a garden, a ranch or a table shared with new friends.
The setting may change.
The intention stays the same.
More than a yoga class.
A new way to om…
Movement is only part of the practice.
My teaching is rooted in curiosity, accessibility and the belief that rest and recovery deserve a place alongside movement.
My continued education includes advanced yoga training with an emphasis on Yin yoga, fascia and myofascial release, meditation, Yoga Nidra, nervous system support and mindful movement.
But Nuevo Om isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about creating enough space to notice what you need.
To move when you need movement.
To soften when you need rest.
And to feel a little more connected when you leave than when you arrived.
Come as you are.
